Casper Hatlestad

Sat 14 / 12pm / The Storey Auditorium
Casper Hatlestad guitar and electronics

In a soundscape inspired by Scandinavian nature and industrial city life Casper creates a unique atmosphere for the listener. The music for this project was composed during tours across Europe; “travelling, getting new impressions and getting out of my normal routine spikes up my inspiration and creativity”.

Hatlestad is known for his experimental looping approach as well as articulating with a violin bow on his custom 3 stringed semi- acoustic guitar and incorporating electronics into his performances. The resulting concert will take you on a journey sweeping from beautiful cinematic impressionism to the dark experimental electronics and beyond.
