Go Kojak

Sat 14 / 5.40pm / Sun Square
John Crawford guitar / Scott Montgomery bass / Kevin Sharkey drums / Gordon Walker keyboards

Go Kojak make tight, angular beats in the spirit of acid jazz and funk masters, contemporary and vintage. This new four-piece band emerges from the funk-barn, and is at wild, grazing for funky nuggets in Lancaster and the Lake District, bringing their varied musical lives into an adventure in sonic borderlands. Corduroy and Vulfpeck are key reference points, inspiring arrangements and original writing that clicks, snaps, stirs and soothes in equal measure.
