Awen Ensemble are a Leeds based contemporary jazz collective. Drawing on traditions in modal jazz, spiritual jazz and global folk, the band’s compositions display an eclectic mix of colours, which combined with the distinctive 7 piece line up of the ensemble formulate into an immersive and reflective live experience. Their distinct and funky grooves will find a perfect home at the Kanteena.
