London based German violinist and singer Johanna Burnheart carves her own niche with a unique mix of modal jazz and electronic works.

Johanna’s work exists at the point where modal jazz and techno meet, reflecting her immersion in the Berlin techno & house scene.

Since forming her own band, Johanna has released two albums to great critical acclaim, “Burnheart” and 2023’s “Bär”, with both gaining significant radio play on BBC Radio 6 and beyond.

She will be presenting her music at the festival in a very special intimate solo setting in the Herbarium.
