We are very excited to have un.procedure opening this year’s festival. They are an experimental-jazz-rock outfit, featuring synth player Piera Onacko, drummer/electronic artist Nathan Jones and alto saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi (KOKORO, seed.).

The trio deliver a frantic collision of free improvisation with spiralling, 70’s rock influenced grooves and heady, sci–fi tinged soundscapes. A project initially born as a commissioned work, the band quickly sprouted legs of its own, soon becoming a live tour-de-force. Having played shows nationally and internationally in 2021, un:procedure have sights set for a debut EP release this year. Multi-faceted artist David Stanley (Guri Bosh) will provide a live, reactive visual spectacle to accompany their breathtaking performances.
